Back To School!

I have a lot of summer to catch up on. Someday my time and motivation will line up. But until then I thought I would share the first day of school this year:

I haven't been able to enjoy the back to school peace this year, because I got a job as a Kindergarten Aide.  I am excited to get back into school and teaching again.  (I am also still doing my online university job from home.  Life will be busy this year).

More visits with cousins

We spent the day with some of our favorite people: My brother Spencer's family.

Summer: Yellowstone

The first week of June we went with our "annual awesome vacation friends" to Yellowstone. We rented a very large cabin in Island Park to accommodate all of our people.

Our vacation consisted of: 

 Hot Tubbing

River Rafting

Nerf Wars

(and cleaning up and locating hundreds of Nerf bullets)

Sight Seeing

Animals

Stinky Smells

Snow

Avengers Birthday Party

Alec saw the Avenger movie this summer, and every since then he has been obsessed with Avengers. So it was no surprise that he wanted an Avengers party for his birthday.  His party consisted of:

Masks

Each friend picked their favorite Avenger mask

(Alec=Captain America; Konnor=Thor; Noah=Hawkeye; Tanner=Thor; Jackson=Hulk; Jaxon=Hawkeye; Kyron=Hulk; JD=Iron Man)

I printed out labels for Avenger Icing and sprinkles for cupcake decorating.

The games were:

Hawkeye shooting "Loki" (balloons with pictures of droids on purple and Loki on the green one.  Try to shoot Loki through the droids).

After the party Grandma and Grandpa came for Captain America Cake

Seriously everything he got from us this year was Avengers!
