The beginning of July

I sat down the first of July and filled in my calendar. Every day was packed full. July is a busy month. Kids had camps, and classes, and throw in family stuff and holidays and it is crazy.

Alec's new favorite video game is Pikmin.  He and his friend Noah play it a lot.  They took a break from playing it and made Pikman out of Legos.

Annual Francis Family dinner and fireworks.

Brynn and Emily took my camera and took a ton of pictures of them and their friend Bailee.  I didn't get a lot of other pictures.

Our raspberry crop was amazing this year.  Usually we get a couple bowls total.  This year we got a couple bowls every day all month.  Our freezer is chuck full of raspberries.

Alec was taking Annie on a walk and she got spooked by another dog, got twisted in her leash, and hurt her leg.  Come to find out she tore her knee cap off.  She had to have major surgery on her leg.  It wasn't cheap, and it is a good thing we love these little stinkers.

The first 2 days were miserable.  She was in so much pain and couldn't squat to pee.  We were at a loss as to how to help her.  Luckily by the 3rd day she learned to hop around on 3 legs.

A week later you wouldn't even know she had surgery.  She hopped on 3 legs for a few weeks, but other than that she recovered very well.
