Brett's Broken Wrist

This summer we went with some friends to Bear Lake.

There was a volley ball pit by our cabin. We had a blast

playing valleyball for hours one night.

And then Brett fell while diving for a ball.

He fell on his wrist. It hurt for a couple of months before

he finally went to the doctor.

He had broken his wrist and needed surgery to fix it.

Yesterday he had his first of two surgeries. It went well.

They had to do a bone graph and put new bone into his wrist.

He is supposed to be in a cast for up to 12 weeks!

It is also his right hand (he is right handed) and he is

a computer programmer, so we aren't sure how he is going

to use the mouse and type.

This will be interesting! Poor guy!
