Third annual Lava trip

My awesome sister-in-law Kim and I have started an annual trip to Lava Hot Springs each summer. (Sometimes my brother Spencer comes, and sometimes Brett comes if they can get off work. But Kim and I and the kids always go).

We swim, snack, jump off diving boards, slide water slides, get too much sun, and occasionally lose a child in the large crowd of people (that is for you Kim :) )

My brother Spencer is my kids most favorite uncle.  He is just a big kid.  He takes life by the horns and just goes with it (unlike his paranoid, overprotective sister who doesn't let her kids do anything without having a panic attack).  So of course he had to take them on the higher than high diving boards.  We had to sign a waiver to let our kids jump off these.  And of course this doesn't phase my brother one bit.  So whenever my kids need a little adventure in their lives I will just send them up to Uncle Spencer.

I am so glad we have this little tradition going.  We have a blast every year.  We love hanging out with Spencer, Kim, Brynlee, and Jace, and are so glad they are part of our family.
