Leap year will always bring to me the memory of Leap Year 2000. I was 9 months pregnant with my first baby (Gavin). I was really worried that I would have him on Leap Year. This thought brought about many anxieties of how to celebrate Leap Year birthdays.
On the other hand when I did have him 4 days later the hospital was jam packed with people having babies who were trying to have a Leap Year baby in 2000. I honestly could not see the appeal, and am so glad my baby wasn't born on this day.
