Since the trip was 10 days I have decided to break it up on this blog. I am going to blog about every day for a week.
Thursday and Friday of last week we spent driving to California. Because we love drama, our air conditioning died on us on the way through the desert and we had to take a pit stop in Vegas in order to get it fixed. That was a bit of a delay, but we were so glad we did, because coming home it was 104 degrees driving through the desert!
So on Saturday we went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park for half the day.
The kids were able to pet some animals in the petting zoo.
Then we took a bus ride through the park. The animals were roaming around the huge park. It felt like a small safari trip.
Alec fell asleep and missed some of the fun.

The other half of the day we spent at the beach. We thought the kids would just wade in the water, but by the time we left they were soaked from head to toe. The smiles on their faces were so worth it!
Everything was going great until Alec fell in the water and the waves kept hitting him over and over before he could get up. We had to run and save him. He is weary of the ocean now.

Welcome back!! Looks like you all had a good trip, except for the A\C. Happy Mother's Day!! We got the flowers from you guys for Mom, will be taking them to her later today. Sarah, we got a good deal on a very nice arrangement, and they only cost 30.00.
Sooooo fun! I love Cali. Atleast this week it's suppose to be warm so ur not coming back 2 crappy weather!
